Recreation is not lacking in Potomac. The location of Potomac makes it a great place for outdoor recreation. Carderock Recreation area sits waterfront and has hiking trails and rock climbing. There’s also Potomac Swim & tennis club, community centers that have exercise facilities, classes, basketball, ping pong and more. There are also places to play a round of golf.
