5 tips for home buyers
If you thought about buying a house, here's what you need to know. Five tips for home buyers!
Number one, you need to know when home sell. This information is important because it all comes down to inventory. You want to buy a house, but you might want to look when there are houses available to buy.
The second thing you need to do, set up a budget. Figure out how much you want to spend on a monthly basis. Reverse engineer that thing to figure out how much home you can afford. Start putting yourself on that budget now and that mindset now and stay within that budget when you're looking for homes.
The third tip, research the neighborhoods. If you're going to be living there, you might want to know what's going on around you. Because whenever you have availability, drive around the neighborhood, see what it's like on an afternoon or at night. Check it out. If you're going to be living there, you want to know what the neighborhood is going to be like.
The fourth tip, get yourself a good real estate agent. Make sure you go with someone who's got knowledge and they know what they're doing. I understand that there's family ties and you got personal relationships with people, but at the end of the day, this is a business transaction. Make sure you have somebody that's knowledgeable and they know what they're doing so that you can get this thing to close.
And number five, this is the most important piece. Get yourself a pre approval letter. Don't wait until after you find a house to go and do all the things you need to do to get pre-approved. No. Get pre-approved before you even go looking. If you find that house, you want to be able to put that offer in right now. Go get pre-approved.
