How to interview a realtor when buying a home

When interviewing a real estate agent, here are a few important things to keep in mind. If you are considering hiring an agent to buy a home, make sure you are keeping these things in mind:

1. Make sure you like your agent, even if they are referred to you from a trusted source.

2. Do they work with buyers? Buyer agents and listing agents are different breeds.

3. Can they answer or find you all answers quickly?

4. Are they familiar with the area you're looking into?

5. Do they have a strong team of trusted partners for you the buyer to utilize (lenders, inspectors, title company, etc.)
