Located about 20 miles north of DC in North Central Montgomery County, Olney is nicely situated to give you an urban/suburban feel while being an easy commute into the district. ICC 200 runs right through Olney so you can get to all the major highways (I-270, I-95 & 495) in the area in a really simple and easy way. Georgia Ave is the main vein that runs North to South through Olney and runs you right into DC. There is also Ride On bus service to get you around Olney or to get you to the metro and the surrounding area.

This park is 60+ acres of outdoor area, easy to get to, has a fenced in dog park and a playground. Olney Indoor Swim Center is a place you can join a regularly scheduled class/lesson or search their website for recreational or lap swimming. Olney Mill Neighborhood Park has several recreational areas, a playground for the kids, a lit basketball court (for night ballers), picnic space and an open shelter.
